History fascinates me and the study of historical events takes me back to another era – a rather awe-inspiring one. I wish to share this feeling with the world through Ruthann Discovery Tours. Barbados has a background steep in history, dating back to the British influence on the island stretching back almost 400 years.

Bridgetown, Barbados is on the UNESCO Word Heritage list and is one of the few world heritage sites in the Caribbean. The country's architecture pays further establishment testament to Britain. With many historic buildings still standing, one is exposed to the island’s unforgettable allure.
